What is wheat flour?
Whole flour is created by grinding grains. It can be used as a binding agent or as an ingredient in baked goods, such as brown bread, wholemeal bread or pancakes. Whole flour has a coarse structure and you can still see bran and germ in it.
Are there varieties of wheat flour?
Flour is created when, after milling, you sift the whole flour to remove the bran and the germs. Flour is used to make white bread, cakes and pasta.
