What is Soya?
Soya is made from the soya bean which comes from the soya plant. Originally it comes from the Far East. Soy is rich in protein, unsaturated fat and contains iron and vitamin B1.

Soy is very healthy and very useful for vegans and vegetarians who need to watch their protein intake. Soy has very healthy nutrients such as vitamins B B1,B2, B6,B9 (folic acid) and vitamin K. However, it contains NO VITAMIN B12, and therefore does not fall under the full-fledged meat replacements.
