Pinus Koraiensis and Pinus Sibirica
The pine nut is the seed of a pine tree. There are as many as 20 different species of pine that produce seeds large enough for human consumption, but only 4 of them are widely cultivated for pine nut production. These pine nuts come from 2 of those varieties. The Pinus Koraiensis is a pine native to Northeast Asia and the Pinus Sibirica pine grows as the name implies in Siberia.
