What is a Chaga Mushroom?
Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) is the most common name (Russian: pronounced chah-ga) for a fungus or mushroom from the Hymenochaetaceae family. In the Netherlands, this mushroom is rare and is called Birch Weather Mushroom. It is found on birch trees in northern regions.
Nutritional value
Chaga is used and sold as a medicinal mushroom and is therefore more than well known to the general public. In science, this fungus has been the subject of research for many decades and continues to be so. Sterols are plant steroids, which together provide a balancing effect on the immune system.
Applications Chaga mushroom powder
