The Cep (Boletus edulis) is a mushroom that occurs in Europe and North America. It is a common edible mushroom. The cap of the mushroom has a light to dark brown colour and the mushroom can grow up to thirty centimetres. The area where the cep is common consists of areas dominated by pine, deciduous and spruce trees.
Production process of Cep Powder
After harvesting the cep, the mushroom is first cut into pieces. These pieces then go into the oven to dry. From this is a selection made by hand, which are then processed into cep powder.
